If you use the Ask a Question form, Practical Norway collects:

• your email address
• the question you submit
• your name, if you provide it
• your trip timing, if you provide it
• your trip length, if you provide it

Information submitted through the form is used to:

• review your travel-planning question
• reply to you by email when appropriate
• manage the correspondence and submitted question

Submitting a question does not subscribe you to a newsletter or other marketing email.

Your email address and personal details will not be published as part of Practical Norway content.

Question submissions are stored using Lovable Cloud, which provides the backend infrastructure used by Practical Norway. Lovable Cloud is built on Supabase infrastructure. Service providers may process information only as needed to provide the technical services used to operate the site.

When you submit a question, the information you provide is stored in Practical Norway’s database and may also be processed by our email service provider, Resend, so that we can receive and respond to your question.

Practical Norway does not sell personal information to advertisers.

Submitted questions and related contact information are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to review the question, manage the correspondence, maintain appropriate records, or meet legal obligations.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection to certain processing.

You may also withdraw a request or ask Practical Norway to delete information you previously submitted, subject to any information that must be retained for legal reasons.

If you believe your personal information has been handled improperly, you may have the right to contact the relevant data-protection authority. In Norway, the supervisory authority is Datatilsynet.

This policy may be updated if Practical Norway changes the way the site collects or uses personal information.
